About Us

General Information and History

   The branch of Science Education was opened for the first time in 1998 by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) within the framework of the restructuring of the Faculties of Education.

   Our department started operating within our university in the 2000-2001 academic year. There are currently 11 faculty members and 3 research assistants working in our department, and Master's and Doctorate programs are available. Our students who graduate from our department as "Science Teachers" are T.R. They can work as teachers in public and private schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In addition, they can also work as academic staff in relevant departments of universities.
